Ryan was raised in and around Muskingum County.  He has fond memories of fun events in Dresden like Homecoming on Chestnut Street and summer events on Main Street. And he loves stopping in the local hardware store.

Ryan loves life and is grateful for time with his wife, Jillian, and two beautiful children, Hailey and John.  He enjoys attending their many extracurricular activities including piano recitals, theater and sports.  Ryan and his family spend time camping and fishing, activities he hopes instills the idea that simple things in life matter the most. Ryan attributes his family focus on the strong influence of his entire extended family.

Ryan has worked in manufacturing, engineering, distribution, and quality control. He enjoys solving complicated problems through collaboration with others and he is dedicated to the goal of bettering his local community through the creation of good jobs and treating others with respect.

Ryan attributes his commitment to mission success to his career serving in the United States Navy.
